Subject 2024 BMW X6M Competition
A real high performance SUV!
The 2024 BMW X6 M’s 4.4-liter twin-turbo V-8 gets a new electric 12-hp and 147-lb-ft motor integrated into the housing of its eight-speed automatic transmission. Because of the different ways electric motors and internal combustion engines deliver their power, total system output remains unchanged at 617 hp and 535 lb-ft of torque from previous models. This setup in stock form delivers a 0–60-mph run of 3.5 seconds and quarter-mile run of 11.9 seconds at 116.3 mph
While performance numbers are overwhelming in this size of vehicle, they can still be improved! (Stay tuned for future updates on that part of the build) In this visit we address the still somewhat docile exterior design.
Making the largest impact we right away got to work on fitting a complete aerokit to the vehicle giving it a lower and more aggressive look, something taller SUV's desperately need! A Front spoiler, sideskirts, rear wing, and rear diffuser. Additional carbon additions are the full front grille assembly and mirror caps rounding out the external design pack. After carefully sanding, and fabricating the kit to fit in a near factory form we then addresses the all to common wheel and tire tuck by installing a set of wheel spacers and extended lug bolts.
As usual, Justin applied full vehicle protection after all components were fit to ensure a flawless finish and full protection of the clients vehicle and added carbon components.
Enjoying the day with the family takes on a whole new meaning when you're driving this high performance SUV!
